Mrs. Blanche Anthony, 79, of Cave Spring, died Tuesday morning, June 11, 2019, at her residence following a short illness.

The former Blanche Ellen Dobbs, Mrs. Anthony was born in Cherokee County, Alabama, a daughter of the late Alvin William Dobbs and the late Dorothy Tucker Dobbs. Mrs. Anthony had made her home in Cave Spring for a number of years, was associated with the Bank of Cave Spring for 23 years prior to her retirement in 2002, and was a member of the Live Oak Baptist Church.

Mrs. Anthony was married to Jones C. Anthony June 9, 1961, and was preceded in death by him May 7, 2010.

Survivors include three sons, Tim Anthony and his wife Ginger of Conyers, Jimmy Anthony of Cave Spring, and Kevin Anthony and his wife Mandy of Centre and four grandchildren, Caroline Anthony, Meagan Bedwell, Mrs. Lacey (Adam) Jennings, and Turner Youngblood. Two great-grandchildren, Mason Jennings and Callie Bedwell; one sister, Mrs. Myra Carolyn (Donald) Storey of Centre, and Alvin Glenn (Barbra) Dobbs of Rome, Texas also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anthony will be held Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. EDT at John House’s Cave Spring Chapel with Rev. Rick Jennings and Rev. George Hughes officiating. Private entombment services will be held later in the afternoon at the Cherokee Memory Gardens in Centre.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 11 a.m. EDT until the funeral hour.

Deacon Clifford Pace Sr., age 83, of Cedartown, Ga. transitioned June 11, 2019.

Services will be Saturday, June 15, 2019, at 11 am at Galilee Baptist Church in Cedartown, Ga. (136 Galilee Road, Cedartown, Ga.) Interment will follow at Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Galilee Baptist Church from 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019, until the funeral hour.

Adrian A. Fanjoy, age 75, passed away Monday June 10, 2019 at a Redmond hospital. He was born on August 11th, 1943 in Bisbee, AZ, to the late Hazen Edward Fanjoy and Ollie May Fanjoy. He was also preceded in death by his brother Edward Fanjoy.

He is survived by Pat Fanjoy his loving wife of 55 years, his daughter Julie (Rick) Ruth, his son Adrian (Debra) Fanjoy, his brothers Deward Fanjoy and Hazen (Nannette), his grandchildren Ricky Ruth, TJ Ruth, Murdoch (Ashley) Ruth, Austin Ruth, Savanah (Bryant) Powers, Aaron Fanjoy, Michelle Fanjoy, his 14 great grandchildren and his special friend Beto Castro.

As an Engineer at Southern Bell for 28 years and an additional 12 years as an independent contractor; Adrian developed many friendships that endured through the years long after his eventual retirement.

Adrian served as a Marine Reservist for 6 years. Proud of that service and the mission of the Corps he continued his service later in life as an active member of the Marine Corps League doing his best to honor and support other Marines.

As an active member of Beach Creek United Methodist Church, Adrian found a second home. Over the years, he played a significant role in the church managing many responsibilities, always willing to do his part to further their mission. He embraced his church family and was gratified by the love he received in return.

Adrian was an avid tennis player. As his love of the sport grew so did his involvement in that community. Adrian played regularly with his close friends and though he dearly loved the sport, he loved his friends even more.

Adrian truly lived his life in fellowship, faith and love. He brightened the world around him bringing joy to family and friends; always available, always helpful, and always loving.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday June 14, 2019, at Beech Creek United Methodist Church, with Dr. David McKenzie, officiating, eulogy will be given by Gene Free. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour on Friday at Beech Creek United Methodist Church, 2972 Alabama Hwy Rome GA. 30165.

Pallbearers include the following gentlemen: Beto Castro, Javier Enriquez, Reginald Ozment, Steve Grissett, Mike Elliot, and Dusty Dowdy. Honorary Pallbearers: Marine Corps League.

Mr. Donald Ray Wallace, age 74 of Rome passed away Monday June 10, 2019 in local hospital.

Mr. Wallace was born January 5, 1945, in Owensboro, Kentucky a son of the late Oscar Clark Wallace, and Derotha Elizabeth Abrams. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, and a retired truck driver. Mr. Wallace was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Gregory Crowe, and brother, Tim Barry Wallace.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Cline Wallace, sons, Donald Oscar Wallace, Rome; Andrew Ray ( Jeannie) Wallace, Rome; daughters, Derotha (Paul) Garrett, Centre; Nellie Riggins, Electric, Al; Rosemary Hankins, Rome; Michelle Wallace, Rome; brother, Kenneth Houston Wallace, Pensacola, Fl; sisters, Betty Louise Crowley, Pensacola, Fl; Ruby (Rocky) Kessinger, NC; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday June 13, 2019, at Church of God of Prophecy, Huffacker Road, with Rev. Mark Benning, and Rev. Ricky Mann officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens, with Post Five Honor Guard conducting military rites. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home..

Mr. Wallace will lie in state at the church an hour prior to the service.
