Cedar Creek Park has been sold to Camp & Paddle, Inc.

According to deeds at the Floyd County Superior Court Clerk’s office, Cedar Creek Park, LLC at 6770 Cave Spring Road has been sold to Camp & Paddle, Inc. owned by John and Christianna Pike for a purchase price of approximately $1,008,000. The name will remain Cedar Creek Park RV and Outdoor Center.

Previous owners James and Debbie Lossick operated the business for the last 12 years. The sale does not include the Cedar Creek Outlet Store in Dallas, Ga. at 238 Hiram Sudie Rd., which Lossicks will continue to operate.

“We plan to keep everything the same, but maybe so some more events like around Halloween,” says Christianna. She and her husband moved to Georgia from Indiana to purchase the campground and outfitter.

“We had been looking to purchase a campground and wanted to move south. So far, we really like it and it’s been very busy,” she says.

The outdoor outfitter sits on Big Cedar Creek and is open for rentals, equipment sales and camping. According to their website, “Cedar Creek is a family-friendly campground with 62 full RV sites, driving range, camper rentals, lodge, 24 tent sites and a group tent site.” Cedar Creek rents kayaks and canoes for a five mile trip along the Big Cedar Creek. They are also one of the largest outfitters in the state with 300 canoes and kayaks that you can demo on the water.

Reservations can be made online or by calling 706-777-3030. Cedar Creek Park is open Monday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
