OUTLOOK

Thunderstorms are likely throughout the day today ahead of an approaching cold front. Some storms could be strong to severe. The primary hazards associated with the strongest storms will be damaging winds, large hail, frequent lightning and heavy rainfall, which could lead to localized flooding concerns. A brief spin up tornado also cannot be ruled out.
