May is always a busy month with college and high school graduation ceremonies. The last two college commencement services will be held this week with Georgia Northwestern Technical College on May 9 and Georgia Highlands College on May 11 (click here for details). All eyes now turn to local high schools graduations for the Class of 2019 that will begin on Saturday, May 18.
Rome High School: Graduation: Saturday, May 25 at 8:45 a.m. at Barron Stadium. In case of rain, there are 3 back-up options: the first option will be to move the event to 7 p.m Saturday at Barron; next option will be to move it to Sunday, May 26 at 2 p.m. at Barron or 2 p.m. at The Forum River Center. There are 472 students projected to graduate from RHS this year.

BARTOW
Cartersville High School: Baccalaureate service on May 23 at 6 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church. Graduation, May 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Weinman Stadium.
Adairsville High School: Baccalaureate service on May 22. Graduation, May 24 at 8 p.m. at AHS Stadium.
Cass High School: Baccalaureate service on May 21 at 6:30 p.m. in school theater. Graduation, May 24 at 6 p.m in gym.
Woodland High School: Graduation, May 24 at 3 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
Excel Christian Academy: Graduation on May 23.
GORDON
Calhoun High School: Graduation, May 24 at 8 p.m. at stadium.
Gordon Central High School: Graduation, May 23 at 8 p.m. at Ratner Stadium. Senior honors night on May 20 at 7 p.m., Trinity Baptist Church.
Sonoraville High School: Graduation, May 24 at 8 p.m. at stadium. Senior honors night on May 16 at 7 p.m.
POLK
Rockmart High School: Graduation, May 24 at 8 p.m. at stadium. Baccalaureate on May 19 at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
Cedartown High School: Graduation, May 25 at 10 a.m. at stadium.
