Cartersville: Path to, from I-75 and Main Street reopens.

1:30 p.m. update, Cartersville Police: Traffic Update: 75 at East Main is now open

South lanes onto I-75 blocked in Cartersville. From Cartersville Police: “East Main Street at 75 (all exit and entrance ramps) will be closed starting at noon for approximately one to two  hours. Traffic will be rerouted at East Main Street and East Main Street Market. Please use caution, and have patience while crews repair the downed lines.”

From the city of Cartersville: ” Georgia Power has notified the city that they will need to shut down East Main Street between Main Street Marketplace (Kroger) and Komatsu Drive for around 30 minutes. I-75 Off ramps will be closed during this time also. This should occur sometime between noon and 2 p.m.  As soon as we have a more precise time, we will post an update.”
