OUTLOOK

Third consecutive record high in Cartersville: It was 80 on Thursday, seven degrees above the previous record for Feb. 7. That makes three consecutive record highs. Our normal for this time of year: 56 degrees.

Rome’s high on Thursday was 82 degrees, five above previous record of 77. Rome also set a record Tuesday but barely missed doing so Wednesday.
