  • Lady Chargers: They Lady Chargers roll to a 87-51 home win over the Lady Tigers of Southern Crescent Tech. The Lady Chargers dominated the game from the outset never trailing and leading by as many as 37 points won their 7th straight game. GHC dominated the boards, out rebounding the Lady Tigers 44 to 25, scoring 58 of their 87 points in the paint and holding the Lady Tigers to 21.1% from the field. Ciara Thompson the GCAA Player of the Week last week continued her great play with yet another double-double scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jahnarria Brown also had a double-double scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Nijeria Jordan had 20 points and 8 assists, and Jessica Eadsforth-Yates had 13 points and 5 rebounds. The Lady Chargers return to action on Wednesday at home versus Central Georgia Tech, tip off 5:30 p.m.
  • Chargers: Behind Khalyl Waters double-double 21 points and 10 rebounds, the Chargers get the win over the Tigers of Southern Crescent Tech, 77-69. The Tigers got out to a 10 point lead midway through the first half for their largest lead of the game but the Chargers fought back to take a 39-27 into the half. The Chargers went on huge run midway through the second half to lead by as many as 23 points and held on for the win.” Chris Wright really makes our offense go and tonight he played really well with his double-double. The Chargers were led by Khalyl Waters 21 points, 10 rebounds, Derrick Cook had 14 points and 6 assists, and Chris Wright had a double-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 steals, and Dominic Ham had 11 points. The Chargers (19-4, 7-2 in conference play) return to action on Saturday at home versus South Georgia Tech, tip off 4 p.m.
