The first wave of Scouts could be at your door this Saturday, leaving the above flyer about the annual Scouting for Food campaign. Local Scouts seek your assistance in helping the Salvation Army and  others feed those in need in Northwest Georgia. This Saturday, Scouts will place the flyers in door handles, seeking canned goods such as soup, beef stew, chili, meats, vegetables, fruit, pasta dry good or toiletries. Please: No perishable, frozen or glass goods. On Feb. 9, a week from Saturday, the Scouts will return to collect the bags you leave out for them. (by 9:30 a.m.) For more: 706-235-5455.
