Husband and wife team Matt and Jessica Harper are bringing their Harper Home Design ‘Inspiration Gallery’ to Broad Street in March. The new shop focusing “new home creation, old home renovation and modern inspiration” for customers is coming to 424 Broad Street, former home of Tillman Insurance.

One of the many home decor items that will be available at Harper Home Design.

“We’ve been building new homes for the last couple of years and we’ve always needed a location for customers to pick out items for their home…everything from cabinets to lighting to flooring,” says Matt.

“So, we just thought we’d bring everything together for the public to come in and get ideas and make selections…we want to be the ‘go to’ place for materials…first place, high quality, made to order.”

The Inspiration Gallery will focus on kitchen and bath remodeling for the do-it-yourself homeowner. The 2,500-square-foot store will feature products and materials needed for remodeling including cabinets, flooring materials including hardwoods, tile and carpet.

Jessica, a local real estate agent and design specialist, will also have a selection of home décor products available for purchase.

“I love decorating and designing, so we will have a number of home décor selections that are not currently available around here,” she says. “We will be providing something that is affordable for everyone.”

The inside of the new Harper Home Design is coming along on Broad Street.

The selection will include accent furniture as well as décor items, with the majority priced between $20-$100.

“We will have modern, rustic farmhouse décor that you can buy and take home that day. We will have stuff that all folks would want at all different price points,” says Matt. “Whether you are building a new home, remodeling a home or just refreshing your space, we want to be the go-to retailer.”

In addition to the store, the Harpers will also be launching an online shop in the near future.

Harper Home Designs will be opening March 1, but will offer a special preview the last week of February. Click Facebook

Business hours will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, closed Sunday-Monday.
