Effective next Sunday, Jan. 13, the Rome Kroger store at 1476 Turner McCall Blvd. will no longer be open 24 hours. The store’s new hours will be 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily.
According to Assistant Store Manager Robbie Gambrell, the change is a directive from the Kroger Corporate office. “Several other stores have gone that way (no longer open 24 hours) because of lack of sale. That wasn’t the case here, but they are trying to be consistent across the chain,” he says.
The Kroger Marketplace store on Main Street in Cartersville, as well as the Kroger locations in Cedartown and Calhoun, all currently operate from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily.
