Reports: Missing South Carolina Alzheimer’s patient found safe in Bartow County.

 

A 73-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s — reported missing in Greenville, S.C. — is safe after being found in Bartow County, according to television station WYFF.

Michele Marckini was found by the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office, the report shows. Marckini was reported missing after she was last known feeding her brother’s cats on Chenoweth Drive in Simpsonville between 9 a.m. and noon, deputies said. Click for an expanded story

The Greenville News reports she had left her cellphone at her home before leaving to feed the cats. She should be driving a red 2008 Ford Ranger pickup.
