Adairsville woman charged in vandalism spree: Media release. Early Dec. 8, the Adairsville Police Department began working on a property damage spree at several residences around the city. Numerous houses had their windows busted, vehicles were painted, flower pots were broken, satellite TV wires were pulled from the exterior walls and even a rocking chair was stolen and painted. In addition, a vehicle was stolen and driven from one area of town to another. It was later determined these criminal acts occurred in a small amount of time and were committed by one suspect, according to people who had witnessed some of the acts. After several hours of working the crimes and looking for the suspect, Seville King was found at a location in Gordon County and arrested. She was transported to the Bartow County Jail and charged with numerous charges , including criminal trespass, theft by taking a motor vehicle, and theft by taking.



The Georgia Supreme Court has upheld the murder conviction of Zjuantavious Marquis Jackson. From the court: Jackson appealed his convictions for malice murder
and other charges related to the shooting death of Detavious Milner at an April 2015 house party in Floyd County. He argued that his trial counsel was constitutionally ineffective when he argued against bifurcating a charge that Appellant possessed a firearm as a convicted felon.
