Just in time for the holiday season, Berry College Student Enterprises’ Season’s Harvest will be having their Poinsettia Sale on Monday, Dec. 3 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Horticulture Greenhouse.

Here’s what they’ll have:
-Blooming Poinsettias in 8″ pots (available in Traditional Red, Monet, & Harlequin)- $12
-Blooming Poinsettias in 4″ pots (available in Traditional Red & Glitter Red)- $5 
-Assorted Ferns in 4″ pots- $5
-Assorted Succulents in 4″ pots- $6
-Assorted 10″ Hanging Baskets- $8
-6″ Blooming Gerber Daisies- $2


In anticipation of the Rome Wolves competing in their third consecutive Georgia High School Association (GHSA) AAAAA Football Championship in Atlanta, Georgia on December 11, 2018, the Floyd County Board of Commissioners have rescheduled their December 11, 2018 meeting to 10:00 AM.  The meeting will be held in the Community Room, located on the second floor of the County Administration Building at 12 East 4th Avenue, Rome, Georgia.  Caucus will be held at 9:00 AM in Suite 204 at the Administration Building.  The Commission is scheduled to adopt the FY 2019 Budget at this 10:00 AM meeting.  The meeting is open to the public. The agenda will be distributed next week.
