Saturday: Restoration Lindale presents the Christmas in Lindale Parade and annual Star Lighting Ceremony. The parade begins at Park Avenue at 3 p.m. and will travel down to First Baptist Church. Following the parade, There will be an arts and crafts festival at Gilbreath Park from 3-6 p.m. The star lighting ceremony will begin around 5:30 p.m. with reading of names on the star and lighting at 6 p.m. The events are free and open to the public. Dec. 3: City of Summerville Christmas Parade at 7 p.m. The parade theme is “A Small Town Christmas”.
Dec. 6: Cartersville Exchange Club Christmas Parade will be at 6 p.m. Route: The parade begins by turning out of the Tabernacle Baptist parking lot, taking a right onto Church Street bridge, continuing on Church Street until turning left onto Bartow Street, left onto Main Street, left onto Stonewall Street, left onto Church Street, right onto Tennessee Street, left onto Howard Street before making the final turn left onto Douglas Street and returning to the Tabernacle Baptist parking lot. Dec. 6: The City of Cedartown Christmas Parade will start at 6 p.m. along Main Street. This year’s theme is “Blue Christmas”. Rain date is Friday, Dec. 7.
Dec. 7: The 2018 Rockmart Christmas Parade will be at 6 p.m. and the rain date is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 8 at 4 p.m. “O Holy Night” is the theme. Route: Beginning at Hilburn Field parking lot, 815 College St., the parade will continue straight onto College Street before taking a left onto N. Piedmont Avenue. Afterward, the parade will make a right onto E. Elm Street, and then a left onto S. Marble, ending on Slate Street.
Dec. 8: The City of Cave Spring’s annual Christmas Parade will be at 6 p.m. through Downtown Main Street. One of the best places to watch this festive event is on the Square in Downtown Cave Spring
Dec. 13: Calhoun Christmas Parade at 7 p.m. This year’s theme is “A Storybook Christmas”.
Living Nativity, Fellowship Baptist Church, 314 Burnett Ferry Road, Rome: The Nativity, as known as the manger scene, is a special exhibition depicting the birth of Christ. There will be live animals and our volunteers bringing this special event to life. There will be free refreshments. 6-8 p.m.

The Berry College Choir will perform the traditional Lessons and Carols service at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Berry College Chapel. Directed by Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities Paul Neal and Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Music Education Stefanie Cash, this annual festive event features scripture readings, renaissance motets, new compositions and familiar carols such as “O Come, All Ye Faithful” and “Hark, the Herald Angels Sing.” All are welcome.
