The South Rome Early Learning Center at Anna K. Davie Elementary School is now eligible to participate in the Georgia GOAL program; breakfast program to explain more. This program allows Georgia taxpayers to redirect part of their Georgia income taxes to the SRELC.  This is money you were going to have to spend in taxes anyway. Through this program, you get to keep that money local and support a cause you believe in. On Wednesday, Nov. 28, the South Rome Redevelopment Corp. is hosting a free breakfast for people to learn more about GOAL and the learning center. The program begins at 8 a.m. at 111 S. Broad St. The building is on the left just after you cross the South Rome Bridge.  Rick Gilbert, Chair of the Board of Directors for Georgia GOAL will present information about the program.  After the breakfast (if you have time) you will be invited to take a quick tour of the learning center down the road at the Anna K. Davie Elementary School. Please RSVP if you plan to attend:

First St., adjacent to the Forum River Center and Town Green. Tickets are $10 each. Guests can make reservations by email to  nenajdake11@yahoo.com and pay the day of the event. All proceeds from the tours will benefit community preservation initiatives. Details: RomeAreaHeritageFoundation.
