THE LATEST

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a
Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 3 AM to 10 AM EST
Saturday. A Freeze Watch has also been issued from Saturday
evening through Sunday morning.

* TEMPERATURES...Upper 20s to lower 30s.

* Timing...3 AM EST through 10 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Freezing temperatures could kill sensitive
  vegetation and damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Freezing

* Locations...Northwest and far north Georgia, along and north
  of a line from Buchanan to Canton and Cleveland.

 

FORECAST

Friday: Showers with areas of drizzle before 10am, then showers, mainly between 10am and 5pm. Areas of fog before 10am. High near 62. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Friday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 33. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 48. North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday Night: Patchy frost. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 29. North wind around 5 mph.

Veterans Day: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53.

Sunday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40.
