Ana’s Rotolos Deli returns, opening within two weeks at 1817 N. Broad St. Ana La Guardia posted the following note on the restaurant’s Facebook page:
“OK!! My beautiful costumers, friends… I’m opening on North Broad …. two weeks. I’ll be there! Thank you for your support!”
Known for her rotolos, La Guardia has been associated with several restaurants over the years in Greater Rome and commands a hugely loyal following. Most recently, she was associated with Scores sports bar off Redmond but that union didn’t last long.
Peachtree Immediate Care, in association with Emory, is just about ready in Cartersville. All the signage is up at the former Los Reyes location at 122 N. Morningside Drive in Cartersville. Bill Miller, the chief executive officer of CRH Healthcare, says Peachtree will open the first week of December. “Our hours will be consistent with all of our 28 locations around Atlanta, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. seven days a week.” It is one of a string of new urgent and immediate care centers arriving in Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama. - Redmond Regional announced its plans to open two urgent care centers on opposite ends of Rome, the east side at 1801 Turner McCall Blvd. and West Rome at Shorter Avenue and Division Street. Redmond is in a joint venture with SmartCare Medical Group out of Atlanta on both locations. Earlier update
- SmartCare also is partner with another HCA hospital, Cartersville Medical Center, for an urgent care center on Main Street between Starbucks and Main Street Marketplace (new Kroger).
- Floyd Primary Care’s Piedmont, Ala., office opened recently at 32 Roundtree Drive.
West Cinema Theater, the sequel: Grand opening is Nov. 16. This update from Cedartown’s historic movie house:
“We are so excited to announce our grand opening will be Nov. 16. We will have The Grinch, Fantastic Beasts Crimes of Grindelwald, Halloween and Venom.
