The new convenience store coming to the Bypass and Redmond Circle is getting closer. This picture, taken Tuesday morning, shows the general facade of the store that also is scheduled to include a deli in addition to standard features. If all goes as planned, it will open in December. Work is being done by Phillip Burkhalter Builders. The store will feature a sit-down deli by the folks who operate the successful one at The Rock Store off Kingston Highway. The total investment when all is up and running: $1.6 million. The store is just across from where The Spires at Berry College will open in 2020; groundbreaking was held for the continuing care development on Oct. 19.
