Week-long outbreak of lottery fever ends as two tickets will claim $750 million Powerball jackpot.

Tickets sold in Iowa and New York each will claim half of the $750 million Powerball as the winning numbers were drawn Saturday evening. It ends a wild week for lottery players here and across the country, one that started with a near-record $1.537 billion MegaMillions. One winning ticket was sold for that jackpot. For this week, both lotteries are back to the $40 million to $45 million range. For more: Lottery
