Registration continues for Friday’s Walk a Mile in Her Shoes.

11th annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes event, where men and women stand tall in their heals to march against family and domestic violence, will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Broad Street. Registration continues this week. How to register (and they might have the right shoes for you). ‘

About the Walk: “Domestic violence is not just a women’s issue! Join Hospitality House for the 11th annual march against violence on Oct. 12. Each year, we have 400-500 community members don their best ladies’ shoes to march down Broad Street. This event is lighthearted, there will be men in heels (lots of them), there will be mascots of all kinds, there will always be popcorn. Although approached with fun energy, we do this to bring awareness to a very heavily weighted subject. This event is free and open to the public. Every registered participant receives a free T-shirt and a goody bag. For more info and sponsorship opportunities, click here.
