Mrs. Bonnie Evelyn Reed, age 82, of Rome, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2018, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Reed was born in Polk County, GA, on March 25, 1936, daughter of the late Edna Fuller. She was of the Baptist faith and prior to her retirement, was employed at Floyd Medical Center in the housekeeping department.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Rudeseal, Rome; 2 sons; Randy Carroll (Patsy), Rome, and Grady Stevie Carroll (Suzette), Cumming; a sister, Mary Alice Lyle, Cedartown; 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel. The Rev. Joe Redding, the Rev. John Redding, and the Rev. Frank Reed will officiate. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Friday from 6 until 8pm.
Pallbearers serving are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Saturday at 10:30am and include: Chris Rudeseal, Chad Rudeseal, Kenny Hulsey, Rickey Clayton, Jacob Earwood, Dustin Royer, Chyler Rudeseal, and Wendell Burge. Gerome Hulsey will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, has charge of the funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Loretta O’dell Gray Montgomery, age 66 of Rome passed away Tuesday October 2, 2018 in a local hospital.
Mrs. Montgomery was born March 17, 1952, in Bremen, Ga. a daughter of the late Charlie Gray and Cora Carter Gray.
Survivors include her daughter, Tina (Joshua) Huie, grandchildren, Cody Shane Dobbs, Skylar Shea Dobbs.
Graveside and interment services will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday October 4, 2018 at Rome Memorial Park, with Dr. Billy Rabern, officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30 until 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home .
