This update from the Georgia State Patrol:

On Sept. 13, 2018 at 3:20 a.m., Trooper Holman took the lead in a pursuit, initiated by Bartow County, at I-75 southbound mile marker 290.  The reason for the stop was to apprehend a subject using a stolen credit card.  Holman set up to perform a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) because of reckless driving and construction on I-75 but did not because of the public’s safety at the time.  The vehicle exited at exit 288 and drove in the wrong lane on a divided highway.  Bartow County took the lead position in the pursuit and successfully performed the PIT on Main Street.  The vehicle came to rest in the median and the driver of the vehicle was apprehended by Bartow County after a brief foot pursuit.
