Expanded story at Campus Carrier
Look for groundbreaking by mid October for The Spires at Berry College. With a key number having been topped — 120 deposits on residences at The Spires at Berry College, look for groundbreaking on our about Oct. 19 of the continuing care retirement center. The project, with a buildout price estimate of $135 million to $145 million, offers an assortment of living arrangements — from independent cottages and rooms to memory and advance care. The move-in estimate for the first residents is now set for 2020.
Greenbrier Development is planning 295 living units and common areas totaling 403,200 square feet. There will be 188 independent living units including free-standing cottages and apartments; plus an additional 107 health care suites for assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing care. Some of those numbers have changed, especially with the strong demand for cottages.
The Spires comes with several dining options, fitness center, health center and other amenities. It is designed to offer residents differing levels of accommodations and care as their needs change. Click Background
