Latest Grand Jury presentments: Two members reappointed to the Hospital Authority of Floyd County; 293 ‘true bills’ returned.

Floyd County’s latest grand jurors met for nine days. During that time, District Attorney Leigh Patterson presented 293 bills for consideration; all were returned as “true bills” meaning the cases will proceed in the court system.

In reviewing the Hospital Authority  of Floyd County, jurors acting on the recommendation of the Floyd County Commission reappointed two members to the hospital board: Rome Police Chief Denise Downer-McKinney and David Johnson of United Community Bank.
