Buzz: Clock repair underway at Floyd Historic Courthouse. Rome Commission meets Monday. Floyd Commission meeting Tuesday.

 

What time is it? Rome-Floyd Fire Department Sgt. G.W. Horton and Cpl. Zack Owens assist Floyd County Facilities James Osborn with the removal of clock hands from the Floyd County Historic Courthouse.  Floyd County Facilities Manager Ryan Davis states repairs will be sent to the original equipment manufacturer to allow the hands of all three clocks to be synchronized to the same time.


The Rome City Commission will meet Monday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. There will be three public hearings on the agenda for zoning changes. Agenda


The Floyd County Board of Commissioners will meet on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, in the Community Room, Suite 206, on the second floor of the Floyd County Administration Building, 12 East 4th Avenue, Rome, Georgia. Caucus will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Caucus Room, Suite 204, followed by the Board Meeting at 6:00 p.m. The meetings are open to the public. Agenda
