Look for Dollar Tree to go with a nearly $400,000 upgrade at Calhoun Crossing at 122 W.C. Bryant Parkway. The former Super Kmart property — per bids for owner M&P Calhoun, LLC (d/b/a M&P Shopping Centers) — is being converted into new use as it other parts of the shopping center off U.S. 41. As previously posted on Hometown Headlines, Bargain Hunt and Planet Fitness are on the way. Now we’re seeing plans for changes to Dollar Tree, including 10,500 square feet of space. It appears Dollar Tree would bookend the revamped Kmart space with Bargain Hunt to its right followed by Planet Fitness. Dollar Tree already is part of the strip center’s lineup. The Kmart store — the last in Northwest Georgia — closed last September.
