A new Little Caesars is planned for the old Magic Wand Car Wash on Turner McCall Blvd. Hometown photo.

It appears Little Caesars has found a new place for its East Rome location. Plans have been filed with the Rome-Floyd Building Inspection office and with Rome-Floyd Planning Department for a new Little Caesars at 1710 Turner McCall Blvd., the site of the Magic Wand Car Wash. According to Artagus Newell, Planning Director, Quantum Restaurants out of Chattanooga (d/b/a Little Caesars) has requested a variance for the property that will go before the Board of Adjustments on Aug. 16. They are requesting to reduce the front setback from 20 feet to 5 feet, as well as reducing the rear setback from 30 feet to 15 feet. Newell says plans are to demolish the car wash with new building construction on the property.

The East Rome Little Caesar’s Pizza on Hicks Drive closed at the end of June pending relocation. Its former neighbor Great Clips moved into the adjacent Etowah Crossing shopping center.  We hope to have more updates on the new location from Quantum Restaurants later today.

Now this sounds like a fun place. Barn Belly Burgers is now open at 2536 Rome Highway in Aragon, the former RW’s Snack Shack/Flea Market.
