Construction on a new Love’s Travel Stop at I-75 and Union Grove in Gordon County is schedule to begin later this summer with projected opening in Spring 2019, according to Kealey Dorian with Love’s corporate office. At nearly 14,000 square feet, the building will include Love’s normal offerings as well as a Burger King and Subway, and a 10,642-square-foot tire shop.
“In addition to the Burger King and Subway restaurants, the travel stop will offer fuel, snacks, fountain drinks, coffee, electronics, gift items, showers and more. It will have 103 truck parking spaces for professional truck drivers and a Love’s Truck Tire Care facility that provides tire and light mechanical services for professional truck drivers,” says Dorian.
“In total, the store, restaurants and tire shop will employ approximately 60-70 people. The location along interstate 75 is a great opportunity to serve people traveling between Atlanta and Chattanooga, and we’re excited to add to our network of travel stops in Georgia.”
