Update: East Rome Beverage Center closed today, to open Friday at new 8,000-square-foot store also off Dean Avenue.

Update: The East Rome Beverage Center closed its doors on the old location Wednesday evening and will reopen in the new location this Friday, July 13. The store is at 1805 Dean Ave SE. The current store will be demolished in coming weeks. Previous updates below:

Crews from Davis Contracting and Development continue to put finishing touches on project on July 5.

Davis Contracting and Development Inc. is putting the final touches on the new East Rome Beverage Center on Dean Avenue. Contractor Randy Davis says he hopes to turn the building over to owners, the Kwon Family, within another month or so.

The new building sitswhere Deano’s Pizza once stood off Dean Avenue in East Rome. The new store is 8,000 square feet with a 31-door cooler as well as a beer cave and wine cave. Robert Noble is the architect. The current beverage center will come down once the new building is open.
