FROM THE OUTFITTERS

River Ratz Tubing & Kayak, LLC.: Rick Dempsey says he’s open today as normal.  For more: 706-728-4160.

Euharlee Creek Outfitters: (Friday afternoon) “We are open and ready to float the Etowah River, if you are. Although the rain has been a bit unpredictable, it looks like this weekend is gearing up to be bright and sunny. The water levels are, once again, optimal for safe floating! Now is the perfect time to spend some time on the river. Call us to reserve your kayak, canoe or tubes. 770-607-1846.”

Cedar Creek RV & Outdoor Center:  Normal operations continue three times a day, seven days a week at this Cave Spring favorite. Paul reports the water is actually midrange right now and is “actually very family friendly.” Unlike the Etowah or other rivers, Paul says Cedar Creek did not see any significant changes following recent rains.

Free outdoor movie tonight: Beginning at 9 p.m., the campground will show Trolls.
