Ready, Aim, Fire! That’s the name of the class the Small Business Development Center (part of UGA) is bringing to the Rome Floyd Chamber on Aug. 28 as part of a lunch-and-learn program, sponsored by Coosa Valley Credit Union. The target marketing workshop incorporates social media channels, creating effective posts, finding marketing research and perhaps most critical, identifying a target client. Ready, Aim, Fire! is “designed for businesses two or more years in business with three or more employees. The ideal participant is a business owner or marketing manager.” The fee is $49 and includes lunch. A Dalton-area class also is forming. For more: 706-622-2006 or go to georgiasbdc.org/rome
