Updated: Missing Marietta woman found dead in overturned vehicle down in embankment in Bartow County; five days after reported missing. No foul play suspected.

A missing Marietta woman’s body has been found in an overturned vehicle down an embankment off Hwy 293 near Old River Road in Emerson. Bartow County Coroner Joel Guyton confirms 24-year-old Danisha Williams was found dead in a motor vehicle accident in late Thursday night. She was reporting missing on Sept. 19. No foul play is suspected… Read more

In Northwest Georgia, the unemployment rate decreased in August pretty much across the board. Most counties saw a monthly increase in jobs and a monthly decrease in initial claims in August.
