A small, peaceful protest of some 20-25 people gathered on the steps of Rome’s City Hall on Friday evening. The group, organized to stand against injustices across America, garnered a lot of support from passing motorists and downtown visitors.   Chick-fil-A Supply has moved into its first supply center, based in Cartersville Business Park on Cassville White Road. Hiring is continuing; please click  at https://chickfilasupply.greatjob.net/ The company broke ground just about a year ago on the operation, set in about 200,000 square feet on 50 acres. Statewide deaths have now topped 2,000. As of Saturday morning, the count was 2,003. Locally, one more additional death has been reported for Gordon County. The death toll in Northwest Georgia stands as 72 with 1,038 cases. Hospital reports: Saturday Floyd: 2 patients testing positive; none awaiting tests.
