ADVERTISING ON HOMETOWN HEADLINES

Three reasons to advertise on the Hometown Headlines media group:
-Trusted: We're Northwest Georgia's most trusted media.

-Connected: We're in touch via Web sites, e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, radio.

-Audience: We have the most affluent audience in Northwest Georgia.

For six years, the Hometown Headlines family of Web sites has been delivering Northwest Georgia's most critical news and weather information to your laptop, desktop and smart phone (iPhone, BlackBerry, etc.)

Our Web sites cover Rome/Floyd County, Bartow County, Polk County and Gordon County as well as local dining and information for parents and kids.

New in 2010: The Wine News Vine, serving wine lovers and the North Georgia wineries. Georgia's wine industry is about to explode in popularity.

Nearly 71 million hits have been recorded on our sites since we launched on Jan. 29, 2004. We average almost 63,000 hits a day.

Our unique visitor count was more than 1,500 a day (weekends and holidays included) in the first seven months in 2009, a 30 percent increase vs. the same time in 2009.

-No other media in our market can match that growth rate.

Also new : Our explosive entry into social media:

-We administer Facebook pages reaching more than 5,100 people each day:

-Rome, Ga, Facebook Directory: 2,453 members.

-Cartersville, Ga., Facebook Directory: 769 members.

-Gordon County, Ga., Facebook Group: 593 members.

-Polk County, Ga., Facebook Group: 654 members.

-Plus our Hometown fan page with more than 650 friends.

Our Twitter followers are growing as well. We offer Twitter updates from:@Hometown, @bartowheadlines, @winenewsvine; watch for more on @hometownadlines.

-Our Hometown account has more than 400 fans.

Plus our free, requested e-mail alerts go to more than 700 addresses in Northwest Georgia, Atlanta and Washington, D.C., each weekday morning and as critical breaking news/weather occurs. We do not share these addresses with anyone.

On the radio: The Druck Report is heard on WRGA 1470 AM each weekday at 7:40 a.m. and at 12:40 p.m.  Get the latest business news and views in the fastest four minutes heard on local radio. The Druck Report also is available on demand at www.wrgarome.com.

-In Cartersville, join us each Tuesday at 7:50 a.m. for Bartow Headlines on WBHF 1450 AM.  We're also your home page for all of WBHF's local news and sports programming.

Online, on the air or on your phone, we connect you to what's happening each day in Northwest Georgia.
